Walsh Hosts Virtual Admissions Events for Prospective Students

TROY, Mich., July 7, 2020 — Walsh will host virtual, interactive information sessions for prospective students on several dates between July and November. Admissions and academic advisors will be available virtually or by phone to answer questions, help students select a degree path based on career goals and walk prospective students through the transfer and application processes. Advanced registration is recommended for all events.

Waiver Wednesdays are every Wednesday in August and September from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Students can meet with an admissions or academic advisor and application fees will be waived.

Transfer Student Information Sessions provide an overview of Walsh’s easy transfer process, including how to transfer up to 91 credits toward a bachelor’s degree (July 14, Aug. 6, Sep. 9, Oct. 8 and Nov. 13).

In March, Walsh transitioned all exams, courses and student services to 100% remote delivery, which has continued during the spring and summer semesters. This fall, students will have flexibility to choose to attend classes on ground, online or a hybrid option combining online and on-ground attendance. Walsh is following federal and state guidelines to ensure students can continue their education safely and without interruption.
