Walter Maisel, Ph.D. is the president and CEO of Kostal North America, a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier. Kostal is a family-owned company with headquarters in Germany, which develops and manufactures technologically demanding interior electronic and electro-mechanical products. The customer base is comprised of world class industrial companies, including all of the leading global automobile manufacturers and their sub-suppliers.
Previously, Maisel was the executive vice president of Magna International, where he was responsible for building and managing Magna’s future electronics group. He also worked at Siemens and Siemens VDO for 15 years, with his last position being vice president and general manager for interior and infotainment in North America.
Maisel has a doctorate degree in computer science from the University of Karlsruhe, as well as a master’s degree in mathematics and physics from the University of Bayreuth.
