The Detroit Policy Conference brings together upwards of 800 business, civic, and government leaders to explore critical issues related to the continued economic progress throughout the city and region.

Since the inaugural event in 2012, the Conference has focused on increasing the dialogue between urban and suburban decision-makers to encourage collaborative efforts to grow business, improve outcomes for the regional community, and shape Detroit’s future.

The 2026 Detroit Policy Conference convened business leaders, government officials, and community changemakers to drive meaningful conversations and actionable solutions for a more prosperous and equitable Detroit Region.

 

Held in the heart of Downtown Detroit at The Department at Hudson’s, the 2026 Conference explored the leadership transitions underway in the Detroit Region and featured the bold, adaptive leaders at the helm that are tackling the Region’s most pressing challenges and opportunities.
