Detroit is home to the densest automotive and mobility supply chain in the world. Leaders in the global automobile industry, including automakers like General Motors (GM), Ford Motor Company, and Stellantis (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), position the Detroit region and Michigan as the global automotive headquarters.
