2015 MICHauto SummitJoin some of the automotive industry’s foremost leaders and thinkers at Michigan automotive and mobility industry statewide event, the 2015 MICHauto Summit. This year’s Summit will be held in conjunction with the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) Global Symposium on Connected Vehicles and Infrastructure.
The theme also follows the recent launch of the Michigan Mobility Initiative. Announced at the 2015 Mackinac Policy Conference, the new initiative brings together a wide coalition of stakeholders, including the Michigan Economic Development Corp., MICHauto, Business Leaders for Michigan, Michigan Department of Transportation and the University Research Corridor, to ensure the state is the global leader in next-generation mobility.
MICHauto is a key economic development initiative of the Detroit Regional Chamber, dedicated to promoting, retaining and growing the automotive industry in Michigan. The program serves as the unified voice of Michigan’s automotive industry, providing a platform for various automotive stakeholders to collaborate on matters related to advocacy, awareness, business attraction, and talent attraction and retention.
MICHauto is moving the needle to showcase Michigan’s automotive assets, improve understanding of today’s automotive industry, highlight its importance to Michigan, and generate excitement and pride among those who work in and influence the automotive industry.
