About the 2010 On the RISE Awards

These days every company is looking for ways to give themselves an edge over their competitors and the On the RISE Awards is the perfect way to do so.

This awards program offers well deserved recognition for your achievements and contributions to our community by offering the opportunity to share your story, showcase your company and get rewarded for all of your hard work. Businesses can apply for a On the RISE Award in one of these categories:

There is no cost to apply for the On the RISE awards. The only requirement is the company applying for an award must be a Detroit Regional Chamber member Business Builder level or higher. Online applications are posted below.

What you get if you win:

• Company recognition as one of the four On the RISE winners throughout the year.
  
• A membership level upgrade for one year (Business Builder becomes Bronze, Bronze becomes a Silver member and Silver becomes Gold)
• An article profiling winners and their business’s in the Detroiter magazine
• An article in the eDetroiter e-newsletter announcing the winners

• A plaque to showcase your achievement within your office.

Criteria to be considered:

• Have less than 100 employees
• At least three years in business
• Growth within the area of the award category you are applying for
• Cannot be a member of the Chamber’s board of directors or SBAC awards selection committee
• Sponsoring companies of On the RISE are not eligible to win

• Be a member of the Chamber for at least one year and have no outstanding dues or fees with the Chamber

• Young Professional-Owned Business: Good Girls go to Paris Crepes

• Global Expansion: Global LT
