Neighborhood Tours

There has a lot of buzz regarding the future of Detroit’s neighborhoods. Over the past 20 years, foundations have been making targeted investments particularly in areas where there is a high concentration of school aged children. These neighborhoods include: Brightmoor, Cody/Rouge, Northend also known as Central, Osborn, Chadsey/Condon in Southwest Detroit, and Vernor in Southwest Detroit. The Leadership Detroit Neighborhood Tour will visit two to three of these neighborhoods to give you a chance to see and hear what is going at the “grass roots” level.

School Tours

Leadership Detroit offers current class members and alumni the exclusive opportunity to explore two high-performing schools located in the city of Detroit. The selected schools are focused on helping students graduate and prepare for their future, whether it be attaining higher education or joining the workforce.
