Informational Breakfasts

Don’t miss your chance to learn about Leadership Detroit, its application process and the benefits of the program. Plus, hear from program alumni on how Leadership Detroit has helped sharpen their leadership skills and expanded their knowledge of regional issues. Informational Breakfasts for Class XL have concluded. Check back in later for dates for 2019.

Alumni Gathering

This complimentary networking event is exclusive to Leadership Detroit alumni and the current class. Come and mingle with fellow Detroit area leaders at Varnum LLP in Detroit. Register here.

Fall Legacy Celebration

Come out and enjoy an evening of music and networking with fellow Leadership Detroit alumni at one of Detroit’s premier jazz clubs, Cliff Bell’s. A portion of ticket sales will support scholarships to help alleviate the financial barriers smaller organizations face when sending their leaders through the program. Look out for registration in July.

Neighborhood Tours

There is a lot of buzz regarding the future of Detroit’s neighborhoods. Over the past 20 years, targeted investments have been made, particularly in areas where there is a high concentration of school-aged children.  A resurgence of neighborhood small businesses is creating urban hubs where Detroiters from  surrounding neighborhoods can shop and entertain. The Leadership Detroit Neighborhood Tour will visit selected neighborhoods across the city to give you a chance to see and hear what is going on at the grassroots level.

School Tours

Leadership Detroit offers current class members and alumni the exclusive opportunity to explore two high-performing schools located in the city of Detroit. The selected schools are focused on helping students graduate and prepare for their future, whether it be attaining higher education or joining the workforce.
