2025 Detroit Policy Conference Agenda Complete, Register Now

On Thursday, Jan. 23, the 2025 Detroit Policy Conference: Driving the Innovation Economy will focus on how to capitalize on recent momentum to secure our competitive position as the world innovates and develops new technologies with increasing speed.

Speakers will discuss creating an environment to attract and grow startups, high-tech companies, investment, and talent – all while highlighting the way forward in building a dynamic innovation economy.

The Conference will feature keynote addresses from Sandy K. Baruah, Detroit Regional Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer, Dug Song, Co-founder and President of the Song Foundation, David Coulter, Executive of Oakland County, and Mike Duggan, Mayor of the City of Detroit.

The Conference will also include Power Perspectives from speakers like Kevin Johnson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Detroit Economic Growth Corp.; panels with business leaders like Jessica Robinson, Co-founder and Partner of Assembly Ventures; conversations with innovators like Josh Sirefman, Chief Executive Officer of Michigan Central; and a reception featuring the Detroit City Council.
