Ryan Hertz is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lighthouse.
Hertz and his team have focused Lighthouse on providing opportunities for the working poor and otherwise impoverished members of our community, expanding its scope to encompass emergency food and shelter; financial assistance; affordable and supportive housing development; runaway and homeless youth programs; and supportive service solutions that have contributed to thousands of displaced people finding a renewed sense of purpose. The organization’s affordable housing portfolio now includes over 500 residential units, with more than $150 million in multifamily rental properties currently under development, including the iconic Lee Plaza.
Hertz is an appointee of the Governor to Michigan’s Interagency Council on Homelessness, founding Co-Chair of the Pontiac Neighborhood Fund, and member of the Capital Advisory Committee for NeighborWorks Capital.
