This week, the Detroit Regional Chamber journeyed to the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executive (ACCE)’s Annual Convention in New Orleans, Louisiana, to receive two impactful awards.
Congratulations to both Huey Gray III, Director of Membership, and Othell Little, Manger of Membership Sales, for winning the Dana Ketterling Lifetime Sales Achievement Award. This award recognizes career sales achievement, with awards based on the total number or total dollar amount of Chamber membership sales, and celebrates the relationships that these honorees build with Chamber members.
Gray was honored with a Platinum award for having achieved 1,250 sales or $750,000 in new sales of Chamber memberships throughout his career, white Little was honored with a Bronze award for having achieved 500 sales or $175,000 in new sales throughout his career.

The Chamber’s MichAuto program was also awarded a Communications Excellence 2026 Best in Show award for the 2025 State of Automobility report, which navigated the auto industry’s historic transition. Chosen by a panel of peers from across the country, three award winners were selected for their creativity, innovation, and the powerful way they communicated the value and impact of their chambers.

In June, the Chamber was named a Communications Award of Excellence winner by ACCE for the report, where judges noted that “the depth of research behind the piece [was] exceptional.”
