Chris Uhl

Chris Uhl is vice president of community investments for Rock Ventures LLC. In that role, he is responsible for identifying strategic investment opportunities that will drive high impact outcomes for the Rock Ventures and Quicken Loans family of companies.
Prior to joining Rock Ventures, Uhl served as vice president of social innovation at The Skillman Foundation, where he was responsible for creating a variety of capital vehicles and working with nonprofit partners and entrepreneurs to create new business models to more effectively drive Skillman’s mission to improve the lives of Detroit children.
Uhl also launched and served as executive director of the Detroit Children’s Fund, which utilizes a disciplined investment approach to strengthen and grow a portfolio of the highest performing schools and youth development organizations in Detroit. He is also involved in numerous community projects including: Hatch Detroit, Kiva Detroit, Cody High School Champions Council and the Green Garage Business Greenhouse.
