Craig Vanderburg is the Chief Operating Officer of Trion and an experienced professional in the human resources administration industry. He is frequently sought by local and national media for his expertise on workplace policies, regulatory compliance, health and workers’ compensation insurance, and challenges affecting small and midsize businesses.
Vanderburg previously served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations and chaired its Accounting Practices Committee. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of two human resources administration companies. Earlier in his career, Vanderburg was a Managing Partner of Affinity Group LL, a mergers and acquisitions and investment banking firm that advised service and growth companies on private equity and other financing matters.
Vanderburg earned a Bachelor of Finance degree from Wayne State University and was an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Troy Chamber of Commerce and is a frequent public speaker and media resource on business issues.
