Diallo Smith is the President and Chief Operating Officer at Life Remodeled, a Detroit non-profit focused on sustainable and equitable neighborhood revitalization. Smith builds organizational capacity, cultivates a thriving organizational culture, develops effective leadership and management strategies, structures human resources (including DEI initiatives), and spearheads government and corporate relations initiatives.
His financial expertise led him to careers at ExxonMobil and IBM until he decided to return home and become a small business owner of Drive Ping Pong Bar and Grille in downtown Detroit.
Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Wilberforce University and a master’s degree in Divinity from Southern Methodist University.
