Community Technology Director, Allied Media Projects
Diana Nucera is the community technology director for Allied Media Projects and director of The Detroit Community Technology Project. In this role she oversees the development of education materials that empower community groups to use media and technology to investigate, illuminate and develop visionary solutions to crises. An expert in media arts, Nucera has over 15 years of experience in education, community wireless projects, media production, collaborative design and facilitation, and organizational development. As co-founder and member of the Detroit Digital Justice Coalition, Nucera led the Coalition in developing a guide to producing community science and technology fairs that feature interactive, multimedia workshops designed to engage and inform communities on Internet policies and technology tools.
