Her reporting on Capitol Hill has given her a unique perspective on the systemic issues and progress within the Black community. Additionally, she has worked alongside influential political powerhouses in Michigan and has brought crucial stories to light as a broadcast reporter for Mid-Michigan.
A proud Detroit native, Curry’s impressive community relations experience and exceptional media and print journalism skills have shaped her into a formidable communicator. Her mission is clear: to leave a lasting impact with every story, touching every community, uplifting organizations, and inspiring individuals throughout her journalism journey and beyond.
Curry earned a master’s degree in Journalism from the Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism and her bachelor’s degree in Communications Media at Alabama A&M University.
