Greg Schwartz is the chief executive officer and co-founder of StockX, a Detroit-based technology leader focused on the large and growing online resale marketplace for sneakers, apparel, accessories, and collectibles. The platform connects buyers and sellers using the same method as the world’s stock markets – an anonymous and transparent ‘bid/ask’ market.
Prior to launching StockX, Schwartz co-founded and served as chief executive officer at UpTo and led digital business and product development at Warner Music Group. He has been at the forefront of the mobile applications industry since its inception and led design and development for some of the first mobile phone applications available in the United States.
Schwartz holds a BSE in computer science from the University of Michigan. He lived in New York City before returning to his native Detroit, where he lives today with his wife and three children.
