Isabel Medellin is a change agent serving as Global Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Talent Acquisition at Steelcase, helping leaders and teams across the globe develop strategies for advancing talent and amplifying business impact through more inclusive and equitable environments. Based in Grand Rapids, Steelcase is a recognized global leader in office furniture design and creating people-centered workspaces.
The first-person Steelcase hired in Monterrey, Mexico, Medellin served as a Human Resources Manager to ramp up holistic operations for the company’s Global Business start-up. She then became Managing Director of Operations for the Global Business Center before moving to the U.S. to lead People Operations and the corporation’s DEI strategy and talent acquisition.
