As chief government affairs officer to Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Lisa Howze primarily serves as the city’s liaison to Lansing and the Michigan Legislature. She previously served as a state lawmaker in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2011 to 2012.
Howze is a registered certified public accountant. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in finance from Walsh College.
