Lisa McClain is Michigan’s 9th District in the U.S. House of Representatives. For the 118th Congress, she was elected by her colleagues to serve in Leadership as Secretary of the House Republican Conference.
Policy areas like agriculture, economics, financial services, national defense, homeland security, immigration, healthcare, and veterans’ affairs are just a few of the issues McClain passionately works on each day in Congress.
McClain currently serves as the Chairwoman of the House Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee on Health Care and Financial Services. She is also a proud member of the House Armed Services Committee, the Committee on Education and the Workforce, and the House Budget Committee.
Before serving in Congress, McClain spent more than 30 years building and growing a top-tier business from the ground up. She has firsthand knowledge from the private sector that she uses to advocate for important issues on behalf of her constituents.
