Mark Fields served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ford Motor Company and a member of the company’s Board of Directors from 2014-2017. Fields’ strong leadership was critical to the company’s North American restructuring and turnaround in the late 2000s and record global profits and margins in both 2015 and 2016.
Fields was named a 2000 Global Leader of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum and CNBC’s 2001 Asia Business Leader – Innovator of the Year. Fields currently serves as a TPG Senior Advisor, an independent Director with Qualcomm, Inc. and Hertz Global Holdings, and the Lead Independent Director at Tanium. He also on the boards of three TPG portfolio boards.
Fields earned an economics degree from Rutgers University and an Master of Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business.
