Mike Rogers

Candidate for U.S. Senate; Former U.S. Representative

Service has been the hallmark of Mike Rogers’s life. Raised in Livingston County, he learned the value of leadership and giving back. After graduating from Howell High School and Adrian College, he became a U.S. Army lieutenant and later an FBI Special Agent, fighting organized crime and corruption in Chicago.

Motivated by a desire to serve others, Rogers entered politics, first as a Michigan State Senator, where he helped families save for college and strengthened law enforcement tools. Elected to Congress in 2000, he worked to expand Education Savings Accounts, improve access to healthcare for low-income families, and protect our pristine Great Lakes. On the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee, Rogers advanced energy independence and supported small businesses. As Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, he led efforts to counter threats from China and protect American intellectual property, especially in Michigan’s auto industry.

In the private sector, Rogers has championed innovation and cybersecurity.
