Managing Director, Senior Partner and Detroit Office Leader, Boston Consulting Group

Neveen Awad is on the executive leadership team of technology, advantage, and digital practice and has extensive experience in digital and technology-driven transformations. Serving as Boston Consulting Group’s (BCG) Managing Director, Senior Partner, and Detroit Office leader, she is an expert in digital and technology transformation and modernization for state and local governments. 

Some of Awad’s notable accomplishments in her professional career include leading a technology modernization initiative for the Michigan Secretary of State’s office, driving migration from legacy systems to cloud-based infrastructure, and modern application architecture. She also spearheaded the implementation of a mobile driver’s license program for directing cross-functional teams through regulatory compliance, security architecture, and rollout. Awad led cybersecurity transformations for the state government agency, including maturity assessment, skills assessment, organizational design, enablement, and culture change. 

Prior to joining BCG, Awad worked at the Wayne State School of Business as an Assistant Professor and spent several years at McKinsey and Co. 

Awad earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Yale University and a doctorate in Information Systems Management from the University of Michigan.
