Paul D’Amato is the Chief Executive Officer and Founding Partner of Michigan Capital Network (MCN Ventures), a Grand Rapids–based fund management firm focused on early-stage investing. At MCN, he oversees more than $250M in assets and leads the firm’s venture investment strategy, including management of their new SBIC-CT fund. He is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with more than 30 years of experience in business strategy, operations, marketing, and information technology.
Over the course of his career, D’Amato has participated in more than 100 venture capital transactions, many of which have led to IPOs or acquisitions. He currently serves as a board member of several portfolio companies and actively supports entrepreneurs and the broader startup ecosystem.
D’Amato earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
