Rian English Barnhill is the Vice President of Government and Community Affairs for Olympia Development, the premier real-estate development firm in Michigan. In her role, she is responsible for creating strategies to significantly increase stakeholder buy-in to ensure The District Detroit in an inclusive and equitable development project. Additionally, she works to secure public financing at the municipal, state, and federal levels for transformational development projects in the Detroit Region.
English Barnhill is deeply involved in her community, serving on the executive boards of the Detroit Public Schools Foundation, TechTown, and the Charles H. Wright Museum for African American History. She is a 2023 Crain’s Detroit Business 40 Under 40 awardee.
English Barnhill earned her Master of Business Administration from the Yale School of Management.
