RJ Webber is the Superintendent of Northville Public Schools in Northville, Michigan, and is deeply committed to the belief in the transformative power of public education.
He has taught grades 5-12 in Nigeria, Saginaw, Ithaca, and South Lyon. In addition, he has earned Teacher of the Year honors and Administrator of the Year honors from the Michigan Science Teachers Association and Michigan Music Education Association. He has been a Teacher, Middle School Assistant Principal, Middle School Principal, a High School Principal, and an Assistant Superintendent of Academics.
Webber holds a deep passion for community service, having been awarded Rotary’s Paul Harris Fellowship. In addition, he has been a Playworks board member. Dr. Webber is the co-founder of the Novi area Mental Health Alliance and Novi’s Feed the Need summer lunch program. Webber has most recently worked with students and the University of Michigan to build a platform to bring Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to youth across the country. Dr. Webber worked with the Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association to bring an Employee Assistance Program to each Athletic Director and their families in Michigan.
Webber earned a bachelor’s degree from Alma College, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Michigan, and his Doctorate of Education from Michigan State University.
