Ronia Kruse is the President and Chief Executive Officer of OpTech, LLC and OpTech Solutions, a talent development and solutions firm that she launched in 1999, which provides solutions practice and develops innovative solutions to Fortune 1000 and government clients in the areas of AI, analytics, cyber security, and application development.
Some of the many boards Kruse currently sits on include: Detroit Economic Club, Detroit Regional Chamber, Independent Bank, Digital Lakes, Inforum, Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business Board of Visitors, BELLE Advisory Board, and We Build Character.
In 2025, Kruse was inducted into the Mike Ilitch School of Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hall of Fame at Wayne State University and has received many awards from organizations like Michigan Women Forward, DBusiness, EY, WJR Radio, Crain’s Detroit Business, and the Rhonda Walker Foundation.
Kruse, a Certified Public Accountant, earned both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from Wayne State University. In 2025, Kruse completed the Chief Data and AI Officer Program through the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and College of Engineering and the QuantumShift program by Western University’s Ivey Business School.
