Evening Anchor and Host, The Pulse, Fox 2 Detroit

Roop Raj is an Anchor and Host of The Pulse, a nightly political talk show on Fox 2 Detroit.   

At age 14, Raj hosted a TV show in Troy, Michigan. While studying at Michigan State University, he worked at the CBS and ABC stations in Lansing before reporting in Flint for four years.  In 2002, he went to NBC in New Orleans. After covering 24 hurricanes, including Hurricane Katrina, he moved to Detroit in 2009.   

Raj is credited with scoring multiple exclusive interviews with past and current U.S. presidents.
