Sean J. de Four is the President and Chief Executive Officer of MiSide Community Impact Network, providing strategic leadership and driving innovation across the organization. He led the 2023 merger of Southwest Solutions and Development Centers Inc. to form MiSide, expanding its integrated portfolio of behavioral health, affordable housing, economic stability, and early childhood programs serving metro Detroit.
With more than two decades of human services leadership, de Four has held executive roles at Southwest Solutions, Wellspring Lutheran Services, Samaritas, and Judson Center. He has guided large, complex organizations, strengthened governance, managed multi‑million‑dollar budgets, and launched programs addressing homelessness, mental health, child welfare, substance use recovery, and senior services.
De Four serves on several nonprofit and advisory boards and has been recognized with honors, including the Spirit of Detroit Award and the Michigan Federation for Children and Families’ Leader in Child Welfare Award. He is also a Lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Social Work, earned degrees from the University of Michigan, and completed executive education at Harvard Business School.
