Shawn Wolbert serves as Chief Financial Officer at orsa credit union, a for-impact financial institution rooted in relentless care and courage with purpose. As a member of the executive leadership team, she guides financial strategy and infrastructure to ensure sustainable, thoughtful growth — helping position orsa to create joy and ignite impossible dreams for Michiganders across the state.
With more than 25 years of experience in financial services and credit union leadership, Wolbert brings deep technical expertise paired with sleeves-rolled-up leadership. She has held Chief Executive Officer and senior finance roles across the industry, leading financial turnarounds, improving net worth positions, and modernizing operations to expand access for underserved communities.
Earlier in her career, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates.
A Certified Internal Auditor, Wolbert currently serves as chairperson of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Credit Union Advisory Council and is a frequent national speaker who continues her community impact work through United Way and other nonprofit organizations.
Shawn earned a Master of Business Administration from Spring Arbor University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University.
