Suzanne P. Clark is President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, leading a multi-year effort to strengthen its well-known influence, advocacy, and impact while modernizing its work and attracting new members from the fastest-growing and most innovative sectors of the U.S. economy.

She spearheaded the creation of CO—, the U.S. Chamber’s award-winning digital home for small businesses, and support through the U.S. Chamber Foundation’s award-winning Path Forward program.

Clark serves on the public company boards for AGCO and TransUnion. She also serves on the board of the Economic Club of Washington, D.C.

She has been recognized as So Others Might Eat’s 2019 Humanitarian of the Year, a National Association of Corporate Directors Directorship 2020 honoree, the Baldridge Foundation’s 2021 Awardee for Leadership Excellence, Washingtonian Magazine’s 2019 and 2021 Most Powerful Women in Washington, Washingtonian Magazine’s 2021 Most Influential List, Forbes’ 2021 50 Over 50, and The Fund for American Studies’ 2021 Business Leadership Awardee.

Clark earned a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University. She was also a 2021 Spring Fellow at American University’s Sine Institute of Policy & Politics.
