Tim Walberg

U.S. Representative (R-MI 5)

Tim Walberg is the U.S. Representative for Michigan’s 5th Congressional District, which encompasses Branch, Cass, Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Monroe, and St. Joseph Counties, as well as portions of Berrien, Calhoun, and Kalamazoo Counties.

In the 118th Congress, Walberg serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Education and the Workforce Committee.

Before serving in Congress, Walberg served as a Pastor in Michigan and Indiana, the President of the Warren Reuther Center for Education and Community Impact, and as a Division Manager for Moody Bible Institute. He also served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1983 to 1999.

According to the Center for Effective Lawmaking, a non-partisan collaboration between Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia, Walberg is consistently recognized for his policymaking success, especially on science and technology issues.
