Tony Pistagnesi is the Executive Director of Business Development at AAM and is responsible for strategic business development. He has been involved in designing, developing, and manufacturing drivetrain and propulsion systems for 24 years.
Pistagnesi first became interested in vehicle electrification as head of AAM’s eAAM Technical Team located in Trollhättan, Sweden, in 2013 and recently led AAM’s electrification business activities as a product manager and then business head. He has held leadership roles in general management, product management, product engineering, and operations in the U.S., China, and Germany.
Before AAM, Pistagnesi worked in product engineering at DaimlerChrysler and worked as a co-op student in the Process Engineering department at the Ford Windsor Casting Plant.
Pistagnesi earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Windsor and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
