Yazeed Moore

Director, Michigan Programs, W.K. Kellogg Foundation

Yazeed Moore is the Director of Michigan Programs at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, supporting initiatives promoting thriving children, working families, and equitable communities. He oversees investments in Michigan to ensure children have opportunities in equitable environments, collaborating with grantees and stakeholders statewide. Previously a Senior Program Officer, Moore directed strategy and investments in Detroit and Grand Rapids.

Prior to joining the Kellogg Foundation, Moore was the Program Officer at the C.S. Mott Foundation in Flint, where he focused on youth and education. His experience also includes roles at Earlham College, the Mott Foundation, the Indiana University Foundation, and the Urban League of Philadelphia.

In addition, he has served on several committees, workgroups, and advisory boards dedicated to youth and education issues, including Michigan’s Children, Michigan Parent’s Council, Council of Michigan Foundations P-20 Education Workgroup, and Earlham College Alumni Council.

Moore earned a bachelor’s degree in Management from Earlham College and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University.
