Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan ranked highest in member satisfaction and most trusted among commercial health plans in Michigan for the third consecutive year, according to the JD Power 2026 U.S. Commercial Member Health Plan StudySM. The award is given to the health plan that ranks first overall in their region. This includes its commercial Preferred Provider Organized (PPO), Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), and Point of Service (POS) plan members. Blue Cross achieved the highest ranking in overall satisfaction, making it a recipient of the honor for four of the last five years.
JD Power’s annual study is comprised of eight study categories. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is the highest in all eight categories. These categories include:
- Able to Get Health Services How/When I Want
- Product/Coverage Offerings Meet My Needs
- Helping to Save Me Time or Money
- Resolving Problems or Complaints
- Ease of Doing Business
- Digital Channels
- Level of Trust
- People
