June 18, 2025

Today, the Detroit Regional Chamber announced the departure of Brad Williams, Vice President of Political Affairs, and congratulates him on his new role with the Clark Hill Public Strategies government relations team.

Brad Williams

“My time at the Chamber shaped my career in ways I never would have expected 17 years ago. I appreciate each day that I was trusted to advocate on behalf of our members, and the regional and statewide business community; we accomplished big things together. I will miss seeing all my friends regularly. Still, I am thrilled about my new adventure at Clark Hill Public Strategies, which will enable me to continue doing what I do best: connecting leaders to solve problems.”

– Brad Williams

Williams has been with the Chamber for nearly two decades and has been instrumental in shaping one of the state’s most robust business advocacy programs and teams. His last day with the Chamber is June 20.

Chamber President and Chief Executive Officer Sandy K. Baruah shares, “Over the years, Brad has become not just a close advisor, but a close friend. His relationship in politics circles have served the Chamber exceptionally well. While he will be missed, I’m glad he is going to a great firm with close Chamber ties.”

Please join the Chamber in congratulating Brad on this next venture.
