Chamber Signs On to Coalition Letter to Oppose the Federal Communications Commission’s Broadband Regulatory Takeover

February 2, 2024

The Detroit Regional Chamber, alongside more than 50 organizations representing 19 states, recently signed onto the U.S. Chamber‘s coalition letter to oppose the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) broadband regulatory takeover. If the FCC’s proposed rule is adopted, it will reduce private sector investment in broadband at a time when millions of Americans lack sufficient internet access and states are beginning to receive federal broadband grants from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
