The Detroit Regional Chamber joined over 200 other chambers of commerce to urge Congress to implement a 10-year moratorium on enforcement of state and local AI-specific regulations. With AI technologies developing more and more each day, states are acting in a patchwork manner to regulate.
Congress should take these 10 years to develop its understanding of artificial intelligence and create the proper regulatory template that allows businesses to utilize AI’s strengths while keeping the nation competitive.
