DeFI Program Provides Tips For E-Commerce Marketing Success

On Thursday, March 22, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, the Detroit Fulfillment Initiative (DeFI) will present the program, “Leveraging Digital Tools to Break Into the eCommerce Market,” at WeWork Merchant’s Row, 1449 Woodward Ave., Detroit 48226.

Derek Byrd, Marketing and Inside Sales Manager at Evans Distribution Systems and DeFI co-founder, will welcome the audience and introduce the topic and special guests.

Rebecca Maiorino, Commercial Manager of Shipping & Fulfillment at Shopify, will speak on best-practice insights to “set up shop” online for those who choose to market products through the Internet.

Listrak’s Channel Alliance Manager, Leah Beitler, will discuss how to capture, analyze and use customer data to drive revenue, engagement, lifetime value and growth.

To wrap up the morning, Chris Van Ittersum of Developrise will lead a panel that includes Matt Szukalowski, Marketing Manager at UPS for the Great Lakes District, Rebecca Maiorino of Shopify, Julie Wahl, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Listrak, and Sean Mueller, Director of Customer Solutions, Evans Distribution Systems.
