This week, the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Research and Data Team received the “Best Project Supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” research award from the Council for Community and Economic Research (C2ER) for the “State of Series,” which contains in-depth research that educates businesses, community leaders, and stakeholders on our region’s economic health through in-depth research. This series includes The State of Region, The State of Talent, and The State of Automobility annual reports, which have become vital resources in advancing economic prosperity for our region.
C2ER is a nationally recognized organization that encourages prosperity and excellence in U.S. community, economic, and workforce research fields. Its competitive awards program recognizes the contributions of research activities to the success of local, regional, or statewide community, economic, and workforce development initiatives.
Austeja Uptaite, research analyst, Detroit Regional Chamber, accepted the award on behalf of the team during C2ER and the Labor Market Information Institute’s Annual Conference and Forum in Columbus, OH.
