Nominations for EY’s 2024 Entrepreneur Of The Year Award Due March 1

The Entrepreneur Of The Year® program recognizes the most accomplished business leaders who are building and sustaining successful enterprises worldwide. Award winners join an esteemed community of distinguished visionaries from around the world.

Each year through the Entrepreneur Of The Year® program, EY celebrates ambitious entrepreneurs who are building a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous world for all.

The Michigan and Northwest Ohio program includes Michigan statewide and the Toledo, Ohio area. Application submission deadline: March 1, 2024.

Eligibility

The Entrepreneur

• Chief Executive Officer or president of a private or public company who is primarily responsible for the recent performance of the company.
• Must be in the role for at least two years by the application deadline.
• Previous finalists and applicants are encouraged to reapply.
• Former award winners may reapply if they have founded or transitioned to a new company.

The Company

• Companies must be at least two years old to be eligible.
• Companies are most competitive when they demonstrate long-term value.
• Only for-profit businesses may apply.

Judging Criteria

The independent panel of judges evaluates nominees on a variety of criteria, including, but not limited to:

• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Purpose
• Growth
• Impact
• Financial Performance
