Gary Burnstein Community Health Clinic Joins Detroit Regional Chamber as It Looks Toward Detroit Expansion

Based in Pontiac, GBCHC provides comprehensive healthcare to uninsured adults at no cost to patients. The Clinic provides access to care to all 83 Michigan counties, including Wayne County, providing medical, dental, pharmacy, vision, laboratory, specialty, and care coordination services.

This comprehensive model of care is made possible through an extraordinary network of volunteer healthcare professionals, community partners, donors, and a dedicated staff—all working together to ensure that being uninsured does not mean going without high-quality healthcare.

Now, GBCHC is preparing for its next chapter.

The organization is planning to expand with a second clinic location in Detroit. The expansion will build upon GBCHC’s existing service to Wayne County residents and create greater access to comprehensive, no-cost healthcare for uninsured adults in Detroit and surrounding communities.

Joining the Detroit Regional Chamber is an important part of that growth.

Lewis is also a member of Leadership Detroit Class XLVII, further connecting GBCHC with leaders from across sectors who are working to strengthen Detroit and Southeast Michigan.
