Suppliers sometimes struggle not knowing the resources available to them to help them transition in the defense and aerospace industries, which affects efforts to increase the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and Submarine Industrial Base (SIB).
To address this hurdle, the Office of Defense and Aerospace Innovation (ODAI) is hosting a webinar series that will include four steps over four months for suppliers interested in learning more about these industries or a refresher course for suppliers already in DIB about requirements, potential services, supplier readiness, financial assistance, grants, new business opportunities, and more.
The webinar schedule is as follows:
Sept. 10, 2024, 2-3 p.m.
- Step 1: Transitioning to the Defense and Aerospace Industry (SAM, CAGE Codes, Supplier Readiness, etc)
Oct. 8, 2024, 2-3 p.m.
- Step 2: Small Business Certifications required for Government Contracting and other services from the SBA
Nov. 12, 2024, 2-3 p.m.
- Step 3: CMMC, Cyber Grants, AS9100, and other certifications
Dec. 10, 2024, 2-3 p.m.
