On Saturday, May 13, Prom Remodeled will be a chance to re-do or re-live your prom experience as Life Remodeled brings together some of the most dynamic difference-makers from Detroit Neighborhoods where the organization has partnered and a who’s who list of Detroit’s philanthropic community.
The event will include a superstar lineup of entertainment, including live music from classic national acts Gin Blossoms and Montell Jordan. Prom Remodeled will offer attendees heavy hors d’oeuvres from some of Detroit’s leading restaurants such as Baobab Fare, Casa Amado, Flowers of Vietnam, Oak & Reel, SheWolf, Townhouse, Union Joints, and Wright & Company and cocktails and beverages from Great Lakes Wine & Spirits, Two James, Detroit City Distillery, Rusted Crow, Cadieux Cafe, and The Congregation.
By attending Prom Remodeled and partnering with Life Remodeled, eventgoers will help take an active role in neighborhood revitalization that lasts by ensuring:
- More Detroit students perform at or above grade level in math and reading
- More families have access to essential health and wellness services
- More community members obtain higher paying jobs and achieve economic self-sufficiency
