Robin Schwartz, founder and chief executive officer of Robin Schwartz PR, was awarded two Emmy awards by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Michigan Chapter during a recent ceremony at The Fillmore Detroit. The awards were for her work producing powerful video stories about Michigan-based organizations, in addition to the public relations services her team provides.
The Emmys were awarded in two categories – Branded Content, for a series of videos about the work of Covenant House Michigan, and Director – Long Form Content for a documentary about the Genesee County Land Bank Authority’s 20 years of impact.
Covenant House Michigan (CHMI) provides young people experiencing homelessness and survivors of human trafficking with unconditional love, absolute respect, and relentless support. Since 1997, CHMI has helped more than 80,000 young people ages 18-24 in Detroit and Grand Rapids by providing shelter, wraparound services, educational and vocational programs, transitional housing, street outreach, mental health support, and more. The Genesee County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) is the first modern Land Bank of its kind in the United States.
