On July 25, Chamber member Starco Lighting proudly served as a sponsor of the Beyond the Bounce Basketball Camp, a free community event in Detroit for children with autism hosted by professional basketball player Jaire Grayer. Designed specifically to meet the needs of children on the autism spectrum, the camp provided a safe, welcoming environment with knowledgeable coaches and engaging basketball instruction.
Despite being in its inaugural year, the event saw an impressive turnout, with participants enjoying opportunities to develop their basketball skills, shoot hoops, and connect with others in a supportive setting. Attendees also received complimentary haircuts, adding to the day’s positive impact.
