Ryan Donally is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Windsor Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce, where he leads efforts to connect, advocate for, and empower businesses across the region. Appointed in early 2025, Donally brings a dynamic blend of experience in economic development, municipal government, academia, athletics, and the arts.
Prior to his current role, Donally served as Chief Growth Officer for the Municipality of Lakeshore, overseeing planning, building, mobility, and intergovernmental affairs. He also held leadership roles in economic development and community planning, where he championed smart city initiatives and regional prosperity.
Donally served as Vice-Chair of the Windsor International Film Festival (WIFF), coached hockey for the LaSalle Vipers and Windsor Lancers, and was recognized as the 2020 Young Professional of the Year by the Windsor-Essex Chamber.
Known for his strategic thinking, relationship-building, and passion for regional development, Donally is widely regarded as a connector of talent and ideas across Windsor-Essex.
Donally earned a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and a Bachelor of Commerce with a minor in Political Science from the University of Windsor’s Odette School of Business. He continues to teach as a Sessional Professor at the university, offering courses in Strategy, Marketing, and Business Ethics.
