Gregory J. Bockart Jr. is a Vice Chairman and Market Leader of Savills Detroit office, where he leads a dynamic team specializing in office and industrial tenant representation, leasing, consulting, strategic planning, financial modeling, research services, dispositions, and investment sales. With two decades of experience in commercial real estate, Bockart has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to corporations and individuals on a local, national, and global scale.
Since joining Savills in 2019, Bockart has continued to elevate the firm’s presence in the Detroit market and beyond, leveraging his experience and industry relationships to deliver forward-thinking, customized real estate solutions to clients. Prior to Savills, he held leadership roles at Colliers International, Distinguished Partners Commercial Real Estate Group, and Advocate Commercial Real Estate Advisors, where he honed his expertise in tenant advocacy and strategic advisory services.
Bockart has consistently been recognized as a CoStar Power Broker and a recipient of the ConnectCRE Top Broker Award. He holds prestigious designations as a Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designee and a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He serves as a trustee of The Children’s Foundation and a Board Member of ACC and Leaders for Kids. Additionally, Bockart serves on the Board of Directors of the Detroit Regional Chamber, is a past President of SIOR’s Michigan chapter, and currently serves as its Admissions Chair.
Bockart earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Automotive Marketing Management from Northwood University.
