Jackie Zimmermann, CHES, is the Manager of Public Education Partnerships and E-Learning at Mental Health America.
Zimmermann is a passionate health educator and mental health advocate. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public and community health education and a minor in health care analytics management from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. She brings a public health prevention-focused lens to her work at MHA.
Through developing resources, hosting events, and fostering partnerships, Zimmermann works to provide education on mental health prevention, treatment, and recovery. Driven by her lived experiences, she hopes her work can embolden others to know it’s okay to ask for help and to be a part of the change our country needs, so when someone makes that ask, the system is there to support them.
