Karlyta Williams is the Founder of Mockery Zero Proof, Detroit’s first zero-proof bottle shop and social space. Williams birthed Mockery during quarantine after watching how alcohol was negatively impacting her health. Williams’ passion for curating recipes and baking started at a young age and heavily influenced her desire to cultivate a space that doesn’t rely on alcohol to celebrate or connect with others through her creation. In 2025, Mockery Zero Proof became a recipient of the Detroit Regional Chamber’s NeighborHUB grant.
