Matt Elliott

Sustainability Executive, Business and Global Commercial Banking, Bank of America Michigan

Matt Elliott serves in a dual role as Sustainability Executive and Michigan Market President, furthering Bank of America’s mission to improve the financial lives of its clients and better the communities it serves.

As Sustainability Executive for Business and Global Commercial Banking, he partners closely with the enterprise’s sustainable finances teams to drive strategy and enable salesforce to support client needs on Net Zero and other sustainability topics.

As President, Elliott is Bank of America’s enterprise leader in Michigan, working with company leaders to deliver the company’s enterprise to clients and communities throughout Michigan. He is also passionate about overseeing the company’s ESG activities, including community development lending and investing, arts and culture projects, and employee volunteerism.

Elliott is a Board of Directors member of Business Leaders for Michigan, the Detroit Regional Chamber, the Michigan Israel Business Accelerator, and the Detroit Economic Club. A key part of his board service includes active engagement with committees focused on diversity, inclusion, racial justice, and equity.

Elliott graduated with high honors from Michigan State University and earned his MBA with honors from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
